Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy are critical.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Accounts Receivable Functions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily\/Monthly processing of credit card payments from customers and maintaining receipts and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Daily remote bank deposits<\/li>\n<li>Record cash receipts for all Locations<\/li>\n<li>Respond to customer account inquiries (reprint invoices, email or fax invoices and statements)<\/li>\n<li>Collection of past due customer accounts<\/li>\n<li>Maintain detailed records of communication and collection efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve open issues and credits.<\/li>\n<li>Back up for billing NWGF Division<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>General Accounting\/Administration Functions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in month-end closing<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\/Perform month end account reconciliations, write-offs, adjustments, and other tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Process outgoing mail<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the accounting team to ensure that day-to-day accounting objectives are achieved.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to change and improve the accounting processes.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appropriate file retention (both paper and electronic) over the fiscal year so, at the audit time, supporting documentation can be gathered quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with preparation of annual audit workpapers.<\/li>\n<li>Update policies and procedures as new efficiencies are established<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain processes and procedures both accounting and administratively that support the office in terms of internal controls and ethical business practices.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Salary ranges between $55,000 &#8211; $60,000.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of basic accounting procedures is required<\/li>\n<li>Some accounting background or experience a plus<\/li>\n<li>Accounts Receivable and Collections experience required<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong communication and analytical skills, and a professional telephone\/email manner<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Personal and professional integrity of the highest order<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven and able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Brin:\u00a0<\/strong>Brin Glass Company has been a leader in glass fabrication, installation, and service since 1912.
